A no confidence motion has been registered against Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli in Parliament on Wednesday. CPN (Maosit Center) Chairman Pushpa Kamal Dahal is the proposer of the motion while Nepali Congress President Sher Bahadur Deuba is the seconder.As many as 183 lawmakers from the Napali Congress and 68 from CPN (Maoist Center), three from CPN United have signed the motion.The minimum number of votes to register a no confidence motion in Parliament is 151. At present 256 lawmakers have signed the motion.The NC and the Maoist Center togetehr have 288 seats in Parliament. They need the support of 10 more lawmakers to form a simple majority government.
